Requiem for Lee (for Lee Morgan)
​This composition seeks to honor the memory and legacy of jazz trumpeter Lee Morgan’s unique combination of exuberant, joie-de-vivre trumpet playing along with his compelling, visionary compositional gifts. It is hoped that contemporary jazz trumpeters (and other jazz instramentalists) will take note(!), and work this tune into their own repertoire. Lee certainly deserves the remembrance.​
