Please note: With covid now more or less safely behind us (I hope!), I have gratefully returned to my weekly playing stints at Flayvors of Cook Farm, in Hadley Massachusetts, and continue to perform on a weekly basis (every Thursday from 12 to 1:30 p.m.). This return inaugurates my thirteenth year of playing here! Do come by to check-out some creative jazz piano, along with a number of evocative compositions and standards. I think you'll be surprised at what you will hear! Also, Cook Farm's home-made ice cream is among the best you will ever encounter, anywhere. In addition, there is a nice light-lunch menu to draw from. Flayvors of Cook Farm is located at 129 South Maple Street, Hadley, MA (between Northampton and Amherst).Map
More recently I have been asked to play an increasing number of dates at the Leverett Village Co-0p in Leverett, MA. The playing dates are now ongoing. They occur on the third Friday of each month (from 6 - 8 pm). The ambiance at the Co-op is very mellow and appreciative, with excellent pizza, various bakery goods, and libations of all sorts. Map
I frequently hold down the piano chair at the bi-weekly Friday evening jazz jams at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Northampton, MA (7 - 9:30 pm). Do come by and sample what's going on!
