RECENT COMPOSITION
This composition seeks to honor the memory and legacy of jazz trumpeter Lee Morgan, with his unique combination of exuberant, joie-de-vivre trumpet playing along with his compelling, visionary compositional gifts. I hope that contemporary jazz trumpeters (and other jazz instrumentalists) will take note(!), and work this tune into their own repertoire.
Lee certainly deserves the remembrance.​
